DJ Chris Preston has over 30 years of experience."Can't anyone put on a CD and call themselves a DJ ?"
Yes, anyone can put on a song or two or three and people will dance. The skill is to do that for four to five hours at a time, with knowing what songs in different genres will work for that particular crowd. DJ Chris Preston reads each crowd and have the musical knowledge to make a party be the absolute best it can be."Can we meet with or talk to the DJ in advance?"
Absolutely. Just let us know and we can arrange a meeting."What type of equipment do you use?"
Some of the equipment I use is Crown, Mackie and QSC."People often ask me do I have a Demo CD?"
We don't make Demo CDs available for the following reason: We feel that every event is unique, and that a video of someone else's party might not capture the style or essence of what you're looking for. Special arrangements can be made if you want me to make a personal CD with the songs you want to hear."What time will the talent arrive?"
We like to arrive as early as possible to make certain the equipment is set up in the right place and to conduct a sound check. We will often call the venue ahead of time to confirm logistics and determine the earliest time we can arrive."Do you have liability insurance?"
Yes. We are fully insured through N.A.M.E., the National Association of Mobile Entertainers."We've decided to hire DJ Chris Preston. What happens now?"
We will fax, mail, or e-mail you our standard agreement for you to sign and return to us with a deposit to hold the date. We collect the balance the week before the party or event."What are your payment terms?"
