Who Is DJ Chris Preston?

Chris is a Native New Yorker with over 30 years of DJ experience.  He started

Dee Jaying at the age of 14 in the borough of Brooklyn at his first nightclub.  At the age of 16, Chris started playing in nightclubs in Manhattan.  He also worked throughout the years as a Mobile DJ.  Starting at such a young age helped him learn how to read a crowd

and play the music that they want to hear.  Chris loves what he does. It makes him glad to see everyone happy, dancing and having a good time.  Chris loves his music.

He served on the Board of the New York chapter of the Black Music Association from 1992 – 1993.  In 1994, Chris started Platinum Records, Ltd.  As CEO, he oversaw the development of every aspect from music to dance routines.  Chris produced, arranged, and remixed many of the tracks.  He went on to start Escape Entertainment.  At Escape, Chris did not limit himself to only playing in Night Clubs he also started working with Tours & Travel agencies doing nightlife entertainment on Cruise Ships aboard.  Stay tuned as his journey continues.
